Prime The endless loop is eternal and forever. It represents an array of meanings such as infinity, flow, oneness, continuity, unity, wholeness and so on. A universal symbol, this is the Gordian Knot that cannot be untied and a topological paradox where outside becomes inside. It is a mystical path carved in Celtic stone or adorning a Tibetan sacred artifact. It is “prime” because, while knots can be far more complicated, the weavings of this special lattice cannot be reduced to any simpler geometry. David Friedman 2006
