A Glimpse of the Meticulous and Dedicated Work of the Creation
In this newsletter I will give you a glimpse of the
meticulous and dedicated work that is part of the creation process of
each piece. One of the reasons I find it extremely important to share
this process with you is the replies I get from time to time when I
post a photo of a finished piece. There are always those who
don’t realize the amount of skill effort and workmanship that
is poured into each piece and don’t understand why many
pieces are sold at a certain price.

Unlike many jewelry makers I don’t plan the design according
to the amount of silver or gold or the size of the stone I want to use,
but according to one thing - the idea and the concept/meaning
of the piece. The result in many cases are pieces that are complicated
pieces that many times contain a lot of silver and gold. The only thing
that really matters is the fact that each piece is carefully
crafted with great intention to bring its wearer a true sense of
aliveness, wonder and magic.
That being said I’m aware that nowadays many cannot afford
any piece of jewelry. That is why we created the “30
meaningful pieces to people in need” project. The project is
now closed for new submissions and recipients are being chosen. We hope
those people can identify with a powerful symbol or a meaningful piece
and gain some strength, hope and courage. This is our humble
David Weitzman and the Ka gold jewelry Team.
