In the center of The MAGEN AVOT pendant is engraved the name of Abraham, surrounded by the names of the patriarchs and the matriarchs.
It is interesting to note that the combination of the first letter of each of the names of the patriarchs and the matriarchs – forms the acronym Israel.

Judaism emphasizes the idea of a cosmic plan. This plan is outlined in the prophecies that were revealed to the patriarchs and the matriarchs. We can also see this in the fact that the name of the last forefather, the father of the twelve tribes, is Israel (formerly Jacob), which is an acronym made up of the first letter of each of the names of the fathers and mothers that preceded him.

The sum of the numerical value of the letter's in the fathers’ names is 13, as is the sum of the numerical value of the letters in the mothers’ names,when we ad them together, it equals 26 ...and 26 is the sum of the numerical value of the letters in G-D’s full name. G-D’s cosmic plan is also made evident to us through his interactions with the forefathers. For example when he reveals to Abraham, all that will come to pass. Many believe that within the Torah is a "bible code". When we decipher this code, this encrypted key to coming events, we literally can predict the future.
