Prince Siddhartha sat under this Tree for 49 days, attaining full awakening and liberation and became the Buddha. The symbol inside the leaf of the pendant is the <em>&#8216;Dharma wheel&#8217;<\/em>, also known as <em>&#8216;The Noble Eightfold Path&#8217;<\/em>.
