The Power of Why: Rising Like the Phoenix
As many of you know, my creations are more than jewelry — they are talismans.
Each piece is inspired by ancient traditions and designed to harness cosmic forces that, according to these beliefs, act as subtle remedies for the soul.
But beyond the mystical, there is another dimension that I love weaving into my work: the wisdom of philosophy — timeless ideas that remind us of who we truly are and what gives life meaning.
The Phoenix Ring: A Symbol of Rebirth
At the heart of the Phoenix Ring is one of the most powerful symbols known to humankind — the Phoenix.
A being of survival, resurrection, and transformation.
On top of the ring is engraved a line that has guided me deeply:
“He who has a why can bear almost any how.”
This phrase, made famous by Viktor Frankl in Man’s Search for Meaning, comes originally from Friedrich Nietzsche. It’s a reminder that when we understand why we live, we can endure almost anything life brings our way.
The Meaning Within
So many of us spend our lives looking outward — searching for happiness in things, achievements, or approval — without realizing that the answer has always been within.
Quick gratification fades fast. True fulfillment comes from discovering our why, our unique sense of purpose.
Frankl wrote that those who find meaning in life can overcome any obstacle. When you’ve found your “why,” you gain the strength to rise again — just like the Phoenix.
That’s why I chose this symbol: to represent your power to transform, to rise from the ashes, and to recreate yourself anew — guided by your own will, meaning, and purpose.
The Creator’s Journey
In the world of creation — whether it’s crafting a piece of jewelry, nurturing relationships, or walking the spiritual path — this message resonates deeply.
Every artist, every dreamer, every soul who creates knows that the journey is not always easy. There are challenges, delays, and moments of doubt. But when we remember why we do what we do, those obstacles lose their power.
Here in the workshop, my why has always been clear:
to create meaningful jewelry — sacred symbols that remind us of connection, protection, love, and purpose.
Each piece is a small reflection of the infinite, crafted to inspire and awaken something within.
A Reflection for You
So this week, I invite you to pause and reflect:
What is your why?
What gives your days meaning? What vision fills your heart with light, even when the path feels uncertain?
When your why is rooted in love and purpose, the how becomes a dance — a sacred act of becoming.
