Two weeks ago i was told by Michael Ofek, our astrologer that there will be another opportunity to recreate the Jupiter Exaltation Talismans. I was glad since we’ve received many requests from clients who wanted me to recreate these pieces. So,at the moment I'm making all the different parts of the ring and the pendant . It differs from Talisman to Talisman, but In most instances I have about 40 minutes time window in which there is the optimal star alignment. I usually make all the different parts before and then solder/assemble the pieces together during that time, and meditate/consecrate it for its intended purpose. In that way the Talisman is “born” at that time, and that is the reason I cannot create more than 12-15 pieces each time. Sorry!
Here are the details:
The talisman will be made on April the 29th between 9:10-9:48 GMT+3. Since Jupiter entered Cancer, the sign of it exaltation, we managed to Find some very auspicious Astrological times for him and made Talismans in two different occasions. But we have missed the opportunity to make a Talisman for the first time he was in his exaltation degree (15˚ of cancer) which was between the 1-9 of september 2013.
Fortunately enough, Jupiter has turned retrograde (for four months, from november 2013 to march 2014) therefore retracing its steps backwards to earlier degrees, making it possible once more to capture this unique and powerful event!
An Exaltation degree is said to be the specific degree in which the Planet is most Exalted, within its Exaltation sign. next time Jupiter crosses this degree will be 12 years from now.
The Talismans chart has Jupiter occupying the 15˚ cancer, and cancer is rising. The Moon as ruler of the sign Cancer will be in its exact new Moon phase In Taurus its sign of Exaltation, in the fortunate eleventh house (house of friends, hopes and wishes). This powerful new Moon is essentially a partial solar eclipse (annular), so we've decided to make the Talisman at the time when the Moon Is “Cazimi” or in the ‘heart of the Sun’ (0˚.17’ orb) which gives The Exalted Moon Tremendous powers!, In this case the partial eclipse status is reinforcing it strongly, as the Moon is more bodily aligned with sun (from the perspective of earth). This gives us an even shorter window for completing the Talismans, which will limit greatly the number of Talismans made.
The reason why this degree is Jupiter most powerful place in the zodiac is a mystery, as is most of the Exaltation degrees doctrine which originated from the Chaldean Astrologer priest’s of Babylon.
the answer probably has its roots in Ancient Egypt as this degree was very close to the royal fixed star SIRIUS (today 14˚16’) which is the brightest star in the sky!
SIRIUS was very important to the Egyptians, as it was Helically rising (rising in the morning before the sun, just after exiting the sun’s rays) in the summer with the flooding of the nile, and the beginning point of the ancient Egyptian yearly calendar.
It was considered a life giver, and was affiliated with the goddess Isis.
In the Thema Mundi or the chart for the creation of the world (considered a mythical chart by some later ancient authors ), the sign rising is Cancer and the degree rising is 15°. There is no surprise that Jupiter is Exalted in Cancer the sign that represents birth and generation, and that it is conjunct the Thema mundi’s Rising degree, as this is the point of the worlds birth, and Jupiter is the great life giver, considered by some as more temperate, caring and protective then the sun itself.

On The Powers of Exalted Jupiter
This is a description of "The Seal of Jupiter” from the ancient magical text "The book of Alexander”. The text describes its uses, both physically and circumstantially:
"How to make the Seal of Jupiter which diminishes weakness and ends physical discomfort and colic of the stomach”
The text continues:
“He who uses it will be loved by all people, who will praise and compliment him. If you have a dispute with an adversary you will be able to dominate him and yet also be on good terms with him. It is powerful in controlling judges and religious men. Whoever uses it will conquer anything he is confronted with, be saved from any danger and even in transactions of great risk he will gain."
(Translation - Nicholaj de Mattos Frisvold )
This is THE Talisman for success and prosperity, guidance, healing and spiritual truth. Jupiter has always been considered to be the ‘great benefactor’. It is the largest planet in our solar system and presides over the principles of expansion growth and synthesis. Jupiter brings us the gifts of abundance and success, and provides us with spiritual guidance, support and protection.
Jupiter is also the planet that influences the higher faculties of the mind, our ability to synthesise and to have a deep understanding of concepts and experiences.
Because of this, Jupiter rules philosophy, religion (in the open and liberal sense) and spiritual insight. Jupiter also controls moral ethics and justice and our inherent capability to discern between good and bad. People who were born when Jupiter was strong, are always seeking truth, justice and faith in life. They are teachers, visionaries and word spreaders.
In Indian astrology the name for Jupiter is 'guru' which means guide or teacher. Jupiter is a guide for wisdom and expansion of consciousness, it lifts our spirit with joy, enthusiasm and optimism, gives us a feeling of the magic in life and the gentle guiding hand of fate. Most important, Jupiter's influence helps us trust in our path and above all have hope!
The magus Cornelius Agrippa writes on talismans for Jupiter:
“...From the operations of Jupiter, they made for prolongation of life...increaseth felicity, riches, honor and confereth benevolence and prosperity, and frees from enemies, gives a religious and glorious life, and advancement of fortune.”
Talisman Design Explanation
The central image in this talisman was taken from the Greek and Roman mythology. It is the Aquila - the Roman/Greek symbol of Zeus/Jupiter’s powerful eagle who served him as a messenger. It is a replica of an ancient Roman coin from my private collection. The symbols on the outside ring are some of the ancient magic seals of Jupiter. The three symbols in gold are of course the symbols of Jupiter the Sun and the Moon.
