The Metatron’s Cube and the Flower of Life
The Metatron’s Cube Metatron's cube is a pattern that is derived from the Flower of life structure. It is said that it contains all the five Platonic Solids which were studied in ancient times by Pythagoras and his disciples among others in ancient Greece as the building blocks of the Universe. The five platonic solids are interlocked inside this structure and represent the ancient five classical elements as well as the transmutation of our own soul and spiritual development. This is how we reach from "lead to gold".
The Flower of Life The "Flower of Life" symbol can be found in various ancient sacred places around the world. In Egypt, the source of all the monotheistic religions, the "Flower of Life" can be found in the ancient Temple of Abydos. In Israel, it can be found in ancient synagogues in Galilee and Mesada.
From Flower of Life to Metatron’s Cube We can look at both symbols as part of a process of creation. The first part of that creation takes place in the shape of the Seed of Life during the 7 days of creation when we use the ancient symbol of the Monad (the circle with the point at its center), the first symbol of consciousness and we divide it just like the cells of an embryo. From there it expands to the egg of life and in the next step developing to the Flower of Life. At this stage, we find a hidden pattern composed of 13 circles inside the Flower of life called the Fruit of life. If we connect all the possible centers of the circles of the Fruit of Life we will get a geometrical pattern known as Metatron’s cube. From the Metatron’s Cube, we can produce almost entirely the five Platonic Solids: the cube, the tetrahedron, the octahedron, the dodecahedron and the Icosahedron. These structures are unique in having all their vertexes tangent with the surface of a sphere. These structures, and their different combinations, create every possible molecular structure and every possible geometrical law, basically creating the unseen pattern behind the reality we live in.
