Unraveling the Mystery Behind Platonic Solids
with Five Exquisite Designs
Greetings,
The platonic solids are the Tetrahedron, the Cube, (or
hexahedron), the Octahedron, the Dodecahedron and the
Icosahedron. The facets of a Platonic solid are congruent
regular polygons, with the same number of facets meeting
at each vertex; thus, all its edges are congruent, as are
its vertices and angles.

The beauty and harmony of the platonic solids captured the
eyes of the ancient philosophers and they compared them to
the five elements from which the universe is composed
(earth, water, air, fire and aether). According to Plato,
the Dodecahedron is the structure of the Aether element –
the invisible/spiritual element from which the universe is
composed. It is interesting to see that just recently
scientists reached the conclusion that the universe is
final and has the structure of a Dodecahedron…
Christ Consciousness (Grid)
This beautiful sacred geometry structure is a combination
of two of the Perfect Platonic Solids, the Icosahedron and
the Dodecahedron.
Each facet of a dodecahedron is actually a
pentagon/pentad. The pentad was so revered to early Greek
philosophers and the disciples of Pythagoras that its
construction and it’s divine proportions were kept secret.
The Pythagoreans used it as a symbol to recognize one
another. They learned it’s relation to the Divine
Proportion (The Golden Mean) which is one of nature’s
basic mathematical/geometrical laws, and they discovered
how this proportion affects the human psyche (we
respond/react to this proportion as harmonious and
beautiful with a deep tranquilizing effect).

The Time and Space Pendant
The pendant is an octahedron. It represents time and space
because it is the basis for 3d space which we experience.
It also represents the way the thought form, or as a
matter of fact, any creative force takes form. On each
facet, I've placed the center of the Seed of Life - the
pattern of creation, while in the center there is a
diamond in it's rough from which represents the way our
basic ideas and thought pattern turns into a reality.

What Were you Made For?
Inside the Octahedron, there is a question mark and on it
engraved the sentence - What were you made for? The
question mark inside the octahedron creates a beautiful
delicate chime sound that acts from time to time as a
"bell of awareness". The Octahedron structure gives a
definition of time and space and symbolizes consciousness.
The Octahedron also represents the beginning of creation
or the universe.

The Sphere of Consciousness
Buckminsterfullerene (Buckyballs) Symbol and Seed of Life.
This shape is composed of a combination of pentagon and
hexagon faces. This shape is called a buckyball after
Richard Buckminster Fuller, who patented the geodesic
dome. A buckyball is actually a spherical molecule whose
structure resembles a truncated icosahedron with twenty
hexagons and twelve pentagons.
Geodesic domes are perfect examples of the alchemy of
using the cosmic principles in order to build delicate
fragile looking structures that are actually extremely
strong and robust. The Fullerene molecule - this pure form
of carbon - had recently been discovered in a meteorite
and many believe that it acts as tiny space capsules of
organic building blocks creating conscious life in endless
solar systems.

Cosmic Zodiac
The structure in this pendant is called a Dodecahedron –
one of the five platonic solids. The platonic solids are
convex polyhedrons. The Dodecahedron has 12 facets; each
facet is a pentagon. The structure is parallel to the 12
signs of the zodiac to which Plato referred to as the
basic structures which cannot be grasped by the senses and
are the basis of reality itself. Plato believed that
behind the physical reality there is a spiritual reality
of geometric structures and spiritual laws. He believed
that the spiritual reality is the real reality and that
the one we experience with our senses is only the
projection of the spiritual reality. The number 12 is a
magical number which also appears widely in music. The
chromatic scale has 12 notes. Pythagoras considered music
as the key to creation itself.
