A pale blue dot….

I want to take this chance to offer a “cosmic” perspective to all that is happening in our world, especially here in the Middle East. Living in Israel, I’m afraid one has to deal with hard situations not everyone in the world has to deal with. This is a region in constant turmoil, manifesting itself in wars, killing, harming others and all that is around and all – in the name of god.
Taking the ‘cosmic’ perspective means understanding our real place in the universe, how small this planet really is in comparison to all that exists, how unimportant we are…
This movie says it all so clearly and beautifully… Dedicated to Carl Sagan an American astronomer and astrobiologist who, amongst other things, co-wrote the TV show “Cosmos – a personal voyage”.
